Limited Warranty

Windshield Replacements:

All auto glass workmanship is warranted for the life of the vehicle or for as long as the original customer owns the vehicle, whichever applies. This warranty covers defects related to the installation workmanship so long as such defects are brought to the attention of Mobile Pro Auto Glass Inc within 30 days of discovery of the defect.


Windshield Repairs:

The repair process is the injection of special adhesives into the damage on the windshield. The success rate of the repair differs with each damage. In some cases, the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip spreading past the point of repair. We cannot be responsible for such damages. Repairs are NOT considered cosmetic and may leave a visible mark. While they can improve a windshield's appearance, they are primarily to keep the damage from spreading larger. Windshield repairs are warranted against spreading for the life of the vehicle or the length of the warranty, whichever is shorter. Warranty remedy is limited to a complete refund in the form of a credit towards the purpose of a new windshield installed in the original vehicle.

THIS WARRANTY EXPIRES WITH THE CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OF THE IDENTIFIED VEHICLE, ALL WARRANTIES ARE NULL AND VOID OF REPAIRS AND/OR REPLACEMENT ARE COMPLETED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION TO MOBILE PRO AUTO GLASS INC.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:


  • USED GLASS, CUSTOMER SUPPLIED GLASS OR LABOR ONLY JOBS
  • PLASTIC PARTS/PIECES/COVERS ON VEHICLES 10 YEARS OLD OR OLDER
  • SIDE PILLARS ON CERTAIN VEHICLE (FLEX, EXPLORER, EDGE, MINI COOPER, ETC.)

MOBILE PRO AUTO GLASS INC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR TIMING/CLOCKING IN VEHICLES WITH AUTO UP/DOWN DOOR GLASS.


Important! We recommend the following precautions to ensure against damage to the windshield or leakage:


  • No automatic car washes for 24 hours. (i.e. Auto Bell or power washers. Rain will not hurt it).
  • Do not slam the car doors for 24 hours to avoid an air concussion.
  • Special tape may have been used to secure your windshield molding while the adhesive cures. Remove this tape 24 hours after installation. If you hear a buzzing sound, it could be the tape.
  • Specialized windshield tape is used during installation and is designed to be safely removed without damaging the vehicle’s paint. The tape will not pull or remove properly adhered paint unless there is a pre-existing defect or condition in the vehicle’s paint. Mobile Pro Auto Glass is not responsible for paint that is removed.
  • Always wear your seatbelt! Your windshield sealer is designed to withstand air bag deployment within 1 hour of installation. 
  • Replace wipers if they are showing wear.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners may scratch or distort the glass.
